We are a Christ-centered, Family-focused community where people of all ages are invited, welcomed, and challenged to passionately live out a love relationship with God, spreading His love to the world beyond our walls.
We are located at 1015 Irwin Avenue Albion, Michigan 49224
Services are every Sunday at 10am (near the southwest corner of town).
What we believe
The sole basis of our belief is the Bible.
We believe that there is one living, true, holy God, eternally existent in the Holy Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus was miraculously conceived, born of a virgin, and sinless in life.
We believe that Jesus was fully man and fully God, walked our earth, lived a life of obedience, suffered at the hands of men, and died on the cross.
We believe Jesus fully atoned for the sins of all, was bodily resurrected and enthroned at God’s right hand as our intercessor.
We believe that salvation is wholly a work of God’s free grace, received by repentance and faith.
We believe each person can be made new in Christ by the Holy Spirit and thereafter continuously grow in the knowledge of God.
We are a congregation of The Wesleyan Church, and our pastoral staff are licensed/ordained under their spiritual authority. In addition to the pastoral staff, the local church is led by a group of annually elected lay leaders who comprise the Local Board of Administration. Financial integrity is maintained through regular internal audits and annual reporting to the denominational headquarters.

Who we are
Steve and Diana Shafe have provided pastoral leadership for Caring Community Church since we began in 1981. They are high school sweethearts who entered into a real, personal, life-changing, love relationship with God in February of 1976 and in July of that same year they celebrated their wedding. Steve is a graduate of Spring Arbor University and an Ordained Elder in The Wesleyan Church. While Diana has sought out extensive training in the areas of Public Speaking, Leadership Development, and Children’s Ministry. The Shafe’s have two adult daughters living in the Jackson area, Nichole (Serge) Garcia and Jessica (Gary) Curtis. We are a Women’s Ministry that meets the third Thursday of each month from 6:00pm - 8:00 pm, with a goal of strengthening our relationship with Jesus Christ, as well as one another. We share a meal together in a relaxed setting, a scripture based message and offer child care to those who need it. Everyone is welcome, whether you attend CCC or not.
Band of Brothers
Men’s Ministry meets the first Thursday of every month from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm. A meal and a Bible-based message is shared each month. We work on a service project once per quarter.
